Getting There

We urged all visitors to travel to the event using our free buses, public transport, by foot or by bike.

We would like to thank all those who supported these sustainable travel options. It was amazing that no vehicles travelled or were parked near the site.

How did you get there?

A massive thank you to RDH coaches an Cuckmere Buses for running such amazing Park & Ride services from Martelllo Fields and a shuttle bus service from Newhaven, various stops in Seaford and the Seven Sisters Visitors Centre.

It was amazing to see so many locals walking or cycling to the event, despite the inclement weather!

Cycling is not permitted on the England Coast Path or in the Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) at South Hill, but there was ample, secure cycle parking at South Hill Barn.

With thanks to Get Bikery for their generous loan of this fantastic E-cargo bike to Walk the Chalk.
