4 Sheets Shantymen

The age of sail brought us the songs of the sea. The working songs of the day eased the stress and effort required for the turning of a Capstan or the pulling of a Sheet.

4Sheets Shantymen first embarked on their musical voyage of discovery together in 2019. Dave, Eddie, Mike and Paul are a group of like minded men who enjoy singing Shanties and Sea Songs. Based in Littlehampton they regularly sing at venues in and around the county providing a full range of shantys as well as those that have evolved since the popularity of this rekindled tradition.
